Hello family and friends! Just wanted to share an update on how Liam is doing. Liam recently had his 6 month check with his cardiologist. His vital signs, ECHO and EKG all looked great! We are still tentatively planning his Fontan surgery for this upcoming summer 2022. We do not have the best time frame yet for his surgery, but his team wants to try to avoid flu season. Liam will need a diagnostic cardiac MRI and catheterization with sedation before the surgery, so will plan for that in the spring.
Liam is such a great little patient. He stayed still for all of his tests and procedures and was happy to see his medical team. Liam is really thriving. He is talking up a storm and loves to climb on everything! He now can peddle a tricycle bike and loves his scooter. He enjoys going to the playground with Clara! He often tries to climb up the slides instead of sliding down! We are in awe of our lil miracle man. We thank you all for your continued prayers and love being sent our way.
